GREENLAND CENTER

Shanghai, China, 2011-2016

The Dalian Greenland Center was initially designed by HOK, but was completely redesigned in house at the request of the developer. Work included facade design as well as the proposal and development of the tower crown. Reaching to 518m high, the crown is designed as a structural surface, allowing for the strength to resist wind forces while minimizing the need for additional support structure. The tower is currently under construction.
